Each of our guest artists will concentrate their work on songs by selected poets and composers chosen from the participant repertoire lists. The collation and distribution of submitted repertoire among the master teachers serves to enhance the artistic focus of each session, while ensuring full scope and variety throughout the course as a whole.

The Dutch bass Robert Holl is famous for his Wagner roles at Bayreuth, Berlin, and Vienna. He is an eminent interpreter of German and Russian art song, with a profound affinity to the works of Franz Schubert.

The Canadian-German Tenor Michael Schade is a much acclaimed artist at the most distinguished opera houses all over the world. Many recordings show his love for the „Lied“. Since 2019 he has been teaching at the University of Music and Performing Art in Vienna.
